From the Chair of LVV Board – Announcement of new CEO appointment

New CEO Alison Skeldon

The Board of Governance of Latrobe Valley Village is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Alison Skeldon as the new CEO. Alison will take up the position from the 8th August 2022.

Alison brings a wealth of knowledge and deep understanding of the complexities and needs of Aged Care. We look forward to her working collaboratively alongside the executive team to drive the strategic directions and values of LVV.

Alison is a local with over eight years Executive Director experience overseeing operations in aged and community care services at Latrobe Community Health Service. She has strong connections with the aged care sector as well as a track record in successfully managing and adapting to changing policy and systems.  Alison has previously managed Home Care Services and Commonwealth Home Support and Carer Programs which delivered brokerage services to the community.

Alison holds a Graduate Diploma in Business and Technology from the University of NSW and Associate Diploma in Welfare from Monash University.

She is looking forward to working with the Board and staff of LVV to retain our high standards that are in place and to continue the highest level of care and support to the residents, families and staff.

I know that everyone at LVV will make Alison feel welcome and the Board certainly look forward to her arrival in August.
