Latrobe Valley Village - Community owned aged care
Latrobe Valley Village (LVV) is one of Moe's best kept secrets.
Nestled on five acres of lawn and gardens, LVV offers friendly and affordable independent living and residential aged care in a comfortable, home-like environment.
As a non-profit charitable organisation, LVV is community owned and puts people before profits.
LVV prides itself on providing a stimulating environment for residents who are encouraged to maintain their interests and community connections through various activities and opportunities offered at the village.
A safe, friendly place to live, you don’t have to worry about mowing lawns it’s all done for you, maintenance as well. So if you want easy living try the Village!
I have been a Resident of the Village now for 10 years and it’s the best move I ever made, free to come and go as I please! Friendly atmosphere, safe and secure environment, Seniors Club and beautiful gardens. All maintenance attended to. Trained staff in the hostel when the time comes to move on. Well done Tom and the team!
We decided to downsize and chose to move here because of the reassurance of being able to have a bed in the aged care facility when we need it. It has taken the pressure off our family and it’s very reasonably priced. You’re not paying for things you don’t need.
I lived out in the Village for 14 years and used to volunteer at the hostel whenever I could. Deciding to move over to the hostel myself 3 years ago was a difficult decision at the time but the transfer couldn’t have been any easier. Knowing so many of the staff and local resident’s provided me with so much support at the time. I’m just so pleased I moved into a unit beforehand, it really was the best thing I ever did.
